Terms
The terms every order is sold under.
These terms govern sales by Certamer through certamer.com and app.certamer.com. Placing an order means accepting them. The research-use condition in section 02 is the one that matters most — please read it.
Who may buy
Certamer sells exclusively to businesses that we have verified: peptide brands, clinics, research laboratories, and formulators. We do not open accounts for individuals and we do not sell to consumers.
You must be at least 18 years old, authorised to bind the business you apply on behalf of, and provide accurate information during verification. Accounts obtained through false information may be suspended without refund of undelivered orders.
We may decline any application, and may suspend or close an account, at our discretion. We are not obliged to explain a decline beyond what applicable law requires.
Research use only — the condition of every sale
All products are supplied for in-vitro laboratory research use only. They are not drugs, not dietary supplements, not cosmetics, and not medical devices. They are not for human or veterinary consumption, administration, or application, and they are not for use in food.
By ordering, you represent and warrant that you are acquiring the products solely for laboratory research, that you will not administer them to humans or animals, that you will not resell or distribute them for such use, and that you will handle them in accordance with your own institutional and legal obligations.
This condition is not a formality. It is the basis on which we sell, and a breach of it is a material breach of these terms. If we become aware that products supplied to you are being administered to people, we will close the account.
We make no representation that any product is approved by the FDA or any comparable authority for any use, and we make no claim, express or implied, regarding any physiological, health-related, or cosmetic effect.
Certificates of analysis
Every lot we ship is accompanied by a certificate of analysis reporting the analytical values for that specific production lot. Values are not inherited from a product line or a previous batch.
The lot lookup at app.certamer.com is the canonical record; it is available to verified account holders and through the QR codes on our invoices. If a document in your possession disagrees with the lookup, the lookup governs. Custom-label accounts may generate certificates carrying their own branding; the analytical values in those documents are rendered from the original lot record and cannot be edited.
Analytical results describe the lot as tested at the time of testing. They are not a warranty of performance, stability under your storage conditions, or fitness for any particular experiment.
Pricing, orders and payment
Prices are per vial in US dollars, quantity-tiered per SKU, and visible to verified accounts. A 10-vial minimum applies across the order and quantities move in multiples of 10. Custom labelling is charged per vial with a minimum of 100 vials per SKU.
Every 10 vials ship seated in a clear plastic clamshell. The clamshell lid carries the compound name, strength, lot number, MFG date and the research-use statement; the vials themselves are unlabelled. Choose custom labelling to add your own artwork to each vial — the clamshell stays labelled as standard. Custom-label artwork is printed only after a proof has been approved by you and by Certamer; the lot number and research-use statement appear on every label configuration and cannot be removed.
Prices are subject to change. The price that applies is the one shown in your account at the time your order is placed. Quoted contract pricing is valid for the period stated in the quote.
Payment is by ACH or wire against an invoice. Nothing is charged at checkout. Net terms may be extended to qualified accounts at our discretion and may be withdrawn.
Your order and its lot allocation are held for five business days while payment clears. Unpaid orders may be released back to available stock after that.
We may charge a processing fee on card payments where card payment is offered. Any such fee is shown before you confirm the order.
Shipping, title and risk
We ship to business addresses in the United States only. Orders placed before our daily dispatch cutoff on a business day are dispatched the same day where stock permits. The current cutoff is shown in your account at checkout.
Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery to the carrier. Please inspect shipments on arrival and report damage or shortage within five business days, with photographs, so that we can pursue the carrier.
You are responsible for compliance with the laws of the destination, including any import, licensing, or reporting obligations that apply to you.
Returns
Because these are controlled-storage research materials whose chain of custody cannot be verified once they leave us, we do not accept returns of correctly supplied product.
If we ship the wrong item, a short quantity, or a lot whose certificate does not match what was supplied, tell us within five business days and we will replace it or credit the account. That is your exclusive remedy for a supply error.
Warranties and limitation of liability
We warrant that products conform to the analytical values reported on the certificate of analysis for the supplied lot. That is the only warranty we give.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to any order is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost research.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Certamer and its officers, employees and agents against claims, damages, losses and expenses arising from your use, handling, resale, or distribution of products supplied by us, or from your breach of these terms — including any administration of product to humans or animals.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of Orange County, California have exclusive jurisdiction.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a revised date and, for account holders, notified by email. Continued ordering after a change constitutes acceptance.
If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
